Reservations can be guaranteed with a credit card (Visa or Master Card). The total amount will be charged to the credit card on file 7 days prior to your arrival unless other arrangements have been made. You will receive an email confirmation when your credit card has been charged. We make every attempt, but cannot guarantee accommodations for guests who wish to make a reservation and check-in on the same day.
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled visit. Failure to cancel prior to 7 days before your scheduled visit will result in charges for the full amount if we are unable to rent your room.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Early or late check-ins must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
The Screen Door Inn has a no pet policy. We recommend contacting The Doggie Drop Inn at 254/675-4936 or at www.doggiedropinn.com in Clifton for pet boarding.
The Screen Door Inn is a non-smoking facility. A $250 smoking penalty will be charged if smoking occurs anywhere inside the facility.
Children are welcome if they are at least 10 years of age.
Phones are located in the Lobby (1st floor) and Sitting Room (2nd floor) for guest use. Rooms are not equipped with private phones.
All parking is located downtown. During special events parking could be approximately 1 block from our facility.
The Screen Door Inn is a restored historic building over 100 years old with 6 of the 7 rooms requiring a climb up a 20-step staircase. The Studio is the only room located downstairs and is equipped with accessibility features. We ask that you reserve this room only if you are unable to climb stairs.
Rental of the entire facility (7 rooms/16 guests maximum) is available for a weekday nightly rate of $700 or weekend nightly rate of $750. The full amount will be charged to your credit card at the time of reservation. No cancellation refund is available if we are unable to rent your rooms.
